On August 1, PlayStation fans can enjoy the classic game “Star Wars: Bounty Hunter” on PS5 and PS4. This game originally came out for the PS2 in 2002, and now it’s back with enhanced features.

In “Star Wars: Bounty Hunter,” players control Jango Fett, one of the galaxy’s most feared bounty hunters. The story serves as a prequel to the film “Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.” Jango is on a mission to capture Komari Vosa, a Dark Jedi leading a dangerous cult. This mission, known as the Great Hunt, was set up by Count Dooku. Whoever succeeds will be chosen as the prime specimen for the clone army.

The game has been upgraded with full 1080p up-rendering, trophies, share play, remote play, and second screen support for game manuals through the PS App. Players will experience intense third-person action, using Jango’s array of weapons like dual blasters, a flamethrower, and a jetpack with a rocket launcher. The game also features Jango’s helmet scanner, which lets players identify bounties hidden throughout the levels.

Despite its age, “Star Wars: Bounty Hunter” remains popular. It has a rating of 4.17 stars out of 5 on the PlayStation Store. Players appreciate the engaging story, voice acting, and combat mechanics. Temuera Morrison, who played Jango Fett in the films, returns to voice the character, adding authenticity to the game.

However, some parts of the game have not aged well. The jetpack sections can be frustrating due to limited fuel, requiring precise flying and landing.
