Advertise Your Blog

If you have not previously undertaken any advertising on your blog, you may now decide that the time is right, and use some of your profits in this manner.

As small investment could make a huge difference for your blog.  If you would like to undertake advertising it would however pay to do your homework first, and really look at what avenue of advertising you wish to follow, how much it will cost and what expected return you are looking for.

Whilst advertising can be really effective for your blog, it could also be money down the drain if you fail to investigate it properly first!  Two forms of advertising that many bloggers find useful are Google Adwords and Facebook ads.

Some advertising campaigns offer a coupon code for first time users, which can also help you get started.  Spend some time looking at all the options before you commit to spending those hard earn’t profits!

Is It Time To Freshen Up Your Blog?

Spending some of your blogging income on a new look could pay off very well.  If you don’t have a customised or premium theme, you may wish to consider purchasing one.  Premium themes offer you more versatility with the design of your blog, and will allow you to undertake more things.  When looking at advancing your blog, a premium theme can really enhance the look and feel and as a result help with the blogs popularity.

Perhaps you have a tired looking logo that could do with a professional tweak?  Your logo is your brand, so spending your profits on this could prove to be a very wise decision.  You don’t even need to spend big bucks on a logo.  You can obtain some fantastic blog logo’s from Fiverr at the cost of….that’s right….$5!  Once again, make sure you do your homework first, because the work you receive will vary.  It pays to check out comments from previous customers before you purchase anything.

Any blogging income that you reinvest on the look of your blog is ultimately investing right back into your business and as a result could make a huge difference to conversion rates and thus more profit!

Invest In Blog Tools

Are there some blogging tools that you are currently lacking?  Many bloggers find investing in blog tools worthwhile, so this may be something you might like to consider.

If you havn’t already set up a newsletter service, this would be a wise choice.  You may only be spending $20 or so a month to undertake this, but the benefits will outweigh the cost.

Perhaps you have been looking at some tools that could assist with automation of tasks on your blog, thus freeing up your time to work on other matters.  Any blog tools that you invest in will help your blog’s profitability in the longer term.

Yup I agree with you. The first thing I did when I received commissions for an affiliate marketing job is I bought a premium WP theme and then after I finished setting up the new theme I invested in article marketing. Got some extra income a couple of month after.

Investing back in your blog is definitely the way to go and I still continue to spend a part of my online income for my blog for it to grow and achieve greater milestone ahead.

Maybe even spend a little on our blogging bills LOL…. With my blog earnings I’ve managed to reinvest most of it into the site and community. As of late I’ve been paying my personal bills, server etc… even marketing. I’ve also subscribed to a few online services with the profits, Dlvr.it, Buffer, mailchimp, Shrink the web, Hootsuite, Quickbooks… the list ads up lol

Yes, invest back – and avoid the temptation to spend it on a non-related thing.
