Welcome Tsu: The Social Networking Site That Pays You

Bloggers all love social networking right?  It’s half the fun of blogging after all, getting to meet other awesome people and make new connections.

You may have been hearing a lot of Buzz around the net about a new social networking platform, so it seemed timely to write a post all about it!

What is the platform that is creating all the hype?  Welcome to Tsu!

Social Networking Tsu

What is the new social networking platform Tsu?

Tsu (pronounced “Sue”) is incredibly young, and has literally only been around for a couple of weeks.  The thing that is making Tsu stand out from the crowd is that it says it will PAY you to post content to the site.  Yes, you did read that right!

You can actually earn money from this social networking platform.

Tsu claims that users can maintain the ownership of the content that they post, at the same time as being paid for all the posting, sharing and liking that happens on social media platforms.

In fact, 90% of Tsu’s ad renevue is passed back to it’s users!  That’s not something to be sniffed at right?

This is what Tsu has to say:

Yes, as a user on social media platforms, your content and interactions are valuable. On tsū, you will get paid for your content. Half of your earned revenue is in the form of royalties generated by the content you post. Sharing content on tsū is as simple as any other social platform. Sign up, post your status, photos, or videos to your page, and engage with your friends as little or as often as you’d like.

Sounds interesting doesn’t it.  It’s like a Facebook, but this is a Facebook that has a bank account attached!

Follow me on Tsu to help you get started!

But how exactly do I earn money from Tsu?

Essentially, Tsu pays you for the the people that join the site and follow you, for the content you post and the interaction that you undertake.

The more your content is shared, the more money you will make.  In theory, if you are posting content that people like, whether it be informative, funny or witty, the higher revenue you are likely to see.

Remember that saying “Content is King”…well it is back again.  The more shareable your content is, the more you will benefit.

Tsu works with organic reach, so if you have lots of friends and followers, are regularly publishing content and receiving shares, then you will be paid.

It can sound a bit quirky and we will have to wait and see how it actually pans out, but if your not in it, then you will never know will you!

What have you got to loose?

How well with Tsu work for me?

Considering that no-one has been using Tsu for more than a week it is really hard to say whether this platform is going to be successful or not.

However, you will have heard a thousand times before that you will get out what you put in.  Well, Tsu will not be any different.  Will you earn money for doing nothing?  Absolutely not!

You will need to put in time and effort to see any benefits from the platform, and certainly to see any dollars coming to you.  Signing up to the site and befriending a few people will not suddenly see an influx of money.  Things simply don’t work that way.

The great thing about Tsu is that you can easily track how things are going by looking at your analytics.  You can check how many people have viewed, liked and commented on your posts, so it is easy to see what content is making an impression.

Tsu Analytics

When you hit the ground running with something, everyone is in the same ball park.  No-one has thousands of followers, and for a short time everyone is pretty much on an even playing field.  Can you imagine what results you would be seeing now if you had started on Facebook or Google+ when it was first introduced!

There is already a buzz in the air with Tsu and it is still in it’s infancy.  The only real way to decide whether Tsu is going to benefit you or not, is to simply give it a go!

How can I join Tsu?

Access to Tsu is by invitation only.  Users basically invite others and those users become their “children”.  When those users invite people, they become their children and your “grandchildren”.  I said it was quirky didn’t I!

Tsu’s algorithm then tracks and distruibutes the revnue to the appropriate users.

If you are already using the likes of Facebook and Google+, then you might as well try out Tsu too.  If you are posting your content elsewhere, it wont hurt to post to Tsu too!

I have literally only just signed up to Tsu, so watch this space for more information on how the platform works and how you can most benefit from it.  But for now, it’s free to join, so why not head on over whilst it is still brand spanking new and we can all have a lot of fun together.

Enjoy the ride as this new platform emerges and earn a few $ in the process.

I’ll pop over and follow you back too Shelly :-) Don’t worry about not having a lot of followers – no-one really does right now! You have jumped in early which is a great thing and I’m sure you will see some nice growth soon. You are making connections and that is what it is all about!

It sounds like you are incredibly busy right now with starting a new blog and learning the ropes. Take it one step at a time and most importantly enjoy the journey!!

I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts here :-)

Thanks for introduving the new network Catherine. I’m going to sign up now. It’s always a good thing to jump on platform early and work hard so when it becomes bog, you may stand a better chance with 1000s of followers like you mentioned

thanks for sharing this on broadedNet

Awesome Enstine, I look forward to seeing you there :-)

You can never tell how these new platforms are going to take off, but it’s much better to join in at the start and see what happens rather than sit back and then say “Ah, I wish I had got in at the beginning!”. This is an awesome opportunity and it’s kind of exciting to start something whilst everyone else is new and fresh too.

Thanks for sharing here Enstine and I’ll see you on Tsu too :-)

Great post catherine and glad to know that there are social networks like TSU who are paying money for posting content and sharing but since it’s fairly new we don’t know exactly how much money can we make from this program but any ways nice way to earn some extra income in free time

Cheers

Absolutely Rohit. I guess it begs the question, if we are going to be posting on Facebook, why not post on Tsu and earn a few dollars in the process. Of course you can’t expect to earn a whole heap immediately, but everything grows. The sooner you get started, the more benefit you will see.

Thanks for sharing here :-)

Hey Catherine,

I’ve of course heard about it and the talk is that they will pay you to post. Of course without there being a lot of people on it to see actual results that’s going to be hard to imagine.

I don’t know, I find it hard to believe that by me posting my content and it remaining all 100% mine that they’ll pay me for it. I did hear though that it’s all very little but it’s something that you’ll have to stick with and build up.

I think I’m going to wait to hear a little more about how it’s doing because I’ve jumped in before and it’s been a dud and I wasted so much time and right now I just don’t have any time to waste. Got way too much on my plate but I am interested and I would love to keep checking back to get your thoughts on how you think it is panning out.

Thank you for being a little more detailed with what this is, I haven’t run across one yet. Oh wait, I did “I think” but I had to join this platform to read it. LOL!!!

Hope your week is going well.

Like you say Adrienne, this is new to everyone at the moment, so any info we have is all hot off the press. Ultimately, the proof will be in the pudding, but we wont get to see that until we let some time pass. I’m certainly going to be plugging away at it, so happy to share thoughts down the track :-)

Im glad you enjoyed the post and found it useful :-)

I signed up recently. Still testing it out. It’s pretty old school but Im liking it a bit more each day. I added you there! :)

Thanks Dennis. It certainly is a ‘watch this space’ kind of thing, but it’s fun all the same :-) See you there!!

So the network has definitely potential but I think that the pay will be very very minimal, as the number of users but greatly increase the revenue through advertising can not even begin to keep up.

The first impressions were very good, it is nice designed simply and clearly. For this, just not quite as many features. You can not create groups or other but perhaps Tsu has also not at all before.

We certainly have a page on Tsu created where we post extraordinary art and designs. Since we have many followers, you will receive automatically by us money if you do register on our Tsulink. Conversely, of course, just as :)

It’s definitiely in it’s early days Tobi and with anything there are a lot of improvements that can be made. It will be interesting to watch where they take the platform, and I think they probably will move to groups etc as this is what people are looking for nowdays.

You are certainly not going to be able to retire from your job with the earnings you make via Tsu, but having said that, it will be nice to receive a bit of income for doing what you do naturally elsewhere.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us here :-)
