People who start their own online blog can have many different reasons for giving up. Perhaps they don’t have enough time in the day to work on it, or that they just aren’t seeing the results that they hoped for.
The most common reason though is that they simply aren’t earning enough website income from it to justify the running of it. This is a shame because there are lots of successful mommy bloggers out there that are making money with their own sites.

Ah, time. There never does seem to be quite enough hours in the day to get everything you want done. This is even more apparent when you are a working parent, especially when you also run (or are thinking about starting) a blog.
This apparent lack of time puts a lot of people off blogging entirely and I can understand why.

Blogging requires you to be knowledgeable about a whole spectrum of different subjects in order to be successful. You need to know all about SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), Social media marketing, article structure, WordPress, web design, affiliate marketing, etc. as well as the actual subject that you are blogging about.
You don’t need to be an “expert” at all of these things, but it helps to know a little about everything in order to grow your site.

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a nice Christmas and New Year celebrations over the festive break. As we all worry about whether we ate/drank a little too much over this period, it is that time of the year when we all promise ourselves that we will make some New Year’s resolutions.
If you are anything like me though, those good intentions of personal improvement tend to go out the window by about mid-late January as I slip back into the usual daily routine. This year though I thought that I’d do things a little differently and set some realistic New Year’s resolution goals for my website instead.
